What Would Eli Drink?
Moylans Irish Red Ale
WWED Grade: B

Appearance: Very nice red. Slightly orange. Not really amber, but slightly orange. Kinda cloudy.
Smell: There’s a sweet maltiness. Mild caramel. Think oranges and cherries – you will smell them.
Taste: Delicious. Slightly sweet, very little hops. Tastes kinda like it smells.
Drinkability: Very easy to drink with medium-light carbonation.
ABV: 6.5%
Serving Type: Bottle poured in glass.

I enjoyed this beer. Didn’t knock me out, but definitely a beer worth drinking. Not everything can be a Kilt Lifter, I suppose. I had it after dinner and thought it fit well, got slightly syrupy towards the end. But if you’re in the mood for a Red Ale – this beer will not disappoint.
