Shiner Cheer (2009)

WWED Grade: B+

Appearance: Inch of off white colored head - died fast. Clear. Mahogoney in the middle. Bright orange on the edge.

Smell: Very sweet. The peaches are very heavy here.

Taste: Like a PEACH! Almost can't taste any hops at all. There is some bitterness. Some of the pecans - almost vanilla.

Drinkability: Very drinkable. Medium-mild carbonation..

ABV: ? I'd guess around 5%

Serving Type: Bottle poured in glass.

I really liked this! The bottle says it's 'brewed with peaches and pecans' - was it ever!?! Those peaches come across pretty strong. Most Holiday Beers are brewed with orange peels and other 'spices'. They tend to blend together - this really stood out! A bit sweeter than I prefer - but glad I had it, and looking forward to another next year!
